The Skiddaw is a British-designed and assembled wood-burning stove that stands out for its high efficiency and low emissions, meeting and exceeding ECODesign 2022 standards. It is also DEFRA approved, allowing its use in Smoke Control Areas. This stove features a striking portrait-style viewing window encased in a slender cast iron door frame, providing an excellent view of the fire, which is kept clear by a powerful airwash system. With a nominal heat output of 5kW, it's well-suited for smaller to medium-sized rooms. The Skiddaw boasts exceptional efficiency and very low dust particle emissions, making it one of the cleanest stoves of its size available today. It features a durable steel body, a cast iron door, and is lined with 30mm vermiculite panels for optimal insulation. The single stainless steel air slider ensures easy and precise control over combustion, while the advanced tertiary air system promotes a cleaner and more efficient burn.
