The Mendip Woodland Large is a generously proportioned wood burning stove built around a raised firebox design that incorporates an integrated log store beneath. Crafted in Somerset by a family-run business established in 2008, it combines high-quality steel construction with a cast iron door, giving it both the durability and the refined look to suit a broad range of interior styles. At 7.5kW nominal heat output, it is well matched to larger rooms that demand a substantial and dependable source of warmth.

The dual control air system is straightforward to operate, while a tertiary air feed supports post-combustion to extract maximum energy from each load of wood and keep emissions low. An advanced air wash system circulates warmed air across the glass, maintaining a clear view of the fire with minimal cleaning required. The raised firebox sits above a generous log storage compartment, keeping seasoned wood close to hand and making refuelling quick and convenient. The larger firebox compared to smaller Woodland models supports longer burns and greater flexibility when loading logs.

Variant options

• SE (Smoke Exempt): certified for use in Smoke Control Areas, making it the correct choice if your property falls within a designated zone. Check with your local authority if you are unsure.
• Standard: suitable for properties outside Smoke Control Areas. Ideal if you are in a rural or semi-rural location without restrictions on solid fuel burning.
