The Mendip Balanced Flue Gas Stove Chimney Renovation Kit is the ideal solution for installing a Mendip balanced flue gas stove into an existing chimney stack. Designed specifically for use with the Mendip Ashcott and Mendip Woodland ranges of balanced flue gas stoves, this kit provides everything needed to connect your appliance to a traditional chimney configuration.

The kit includes a Vertical Terminal with Flex Connector, a Terminal (Stainless Steel variant only), a Pot Hanger (Terracotta variant only), and an Appliance Adaptor. Together, these components facilitate a clean, safe installation that makes the most of your existing chimney structure without the need for a conventional flue system.

This renovation kit is compatible with a full range of Mendip balanced flue gas stoves, including the Mendip Ashcott Balanced Flue in both Natural Gas and LPG configurations, the Mendip Ashcott Balanced Flue with Log Store in both Natural Gas and LPG versions, as well as the newer Mendip Woodland Balanced Flue in Natural Gas and LPG variants.

Please be aware that this kit requires Stainless Steel chimney liners to be fitted as part of the installation — these are not included with the kit and will need to be sourced separately. A suitable chimney cowl will also be required. As with all gas appliance installations, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified Gas Safe registered installer before purchasing this kit to ensure suitability for your specific chimney and property.
