Designed for media walls

This model is built specifically for inset installation, making it a natural fit for media wall electric fires. To plan your build, allow an aperture of 914mm wide by 452mm high, with an overall fire depth of just 133mm so it tucks neatly into a stud or block wall. Being electric, it needs no flue or chimney, only a standard mains supply within reach of the recess. If you intend to mount a television above, leave sensible clearance for heat to disperse and follow your TV manufacturer's guidance on minimum gaps.

Flame realism and control

The Rodwell uses an LED flame effect paired with a realistic glowing log bed to create depth and movement that looks convincing from across the room. Five dimmer levels let you fine-tune the brightness and mood to match the time of day. During warmer months you can run the flame effect on its own, enjoying the ambience without any heat output at all. Everything is managed through the supplied remote control, which includes a 7-day programmable thermostat for easy scheduling of temperature and settings.

Heat and running cost
