This inset model is one of our most popular choices among media wall electric fires, recessing cleanly into a stud or block wall so it sits flush within your design. To plan your aperture, the unit measures 242 mm deep, 1138 mm wide and 647 mm high, giving you the figures you need before building begins. There is no flue or chimney required, so installation is straightforward. The fire simply runs from a standard 13 amp mains socket, and we always recommend leaving sensible clearance above the unit if you intend to mount a television, following the manufacturer guidance for your build.

Flame realism and control

The Ultiflame Ultra range uses LED technology to produce a layered, three dimensional flame picture with real depth and natural movement.
