Because the fire runs on electricity, there is no flue or chimney to accommodate, which keeps the build straightforward and gives you freedom over where it sits. It does require a suitable mains supply, so factor in a nearby socket or hard-wired connection during your studwork stage. When positioning a television above the unit, always leave adequate clearance and follow the manufacturer guidance to protect the screen from rising heat.

Flame realism and control
